About Janette Jagger

Janette Jagger was born in the mining town of Broken Hill in the
Australian desert, a place of deep blue, cloudless skies and hot
colours. These desert colours have made a lasting impression.

She has travelled widely in France, Spain, the United Kingdom and
Brazil, where the brilliant tropical colours changed her paintings.

She now lives and paints in Devon, a complete contrast to the desert
and the tropics, and also loves Cornwall and Scotland. Her aim is to
capture the feeling of different places and to convey their joy and
beauty in whatever medium suits them.
